My fiance and I ate there this evening 4/02/13. The food was amazing. The lady who greeted us was extremely pleasant. We heard about Rino\'s on Diners Drive-ins and Dives and were so excited to try it out. The prices were a little more than we expected being out of state but the food and customer service were well worth the price. Next time will plan to dine in the very quaint restaurant since we decided to take-out our first time. |

My daughter ate at Rino\'s last night and we were blown away by every dish we got. Started out with fried calamari (which by the way is enought to feed four people), then stuffed mushrooms (out of this world). I got the lobster ravioli and this is by far the best Italian dish I have had - ever! My daughter got the seafood d\'mari - tons of fresh fish!! Definitely going back again soon. P.S. make reservations early or go on an \"off night\" (Monday when they open at 4)! Gets busy really fast. |

I went to Boston last year for a Sox game and as an avid fan of DDD had to stop in to Rino\'s place for the Lobster Ravioli. I only write this review now, b/c I just bought my tickets to another game for the summer and it got me thinking about what a fantastic time we had last year...and it was all b/c of the food. Rino\'s made the absolute best meal I\'ve ever had in my entire life. Started with the Calamari which was a 9 out of 10 and finished up with the Lobster Ravioli. There are no words for how fantastic the Lobster Ravioli is. If you haven\'t tried it, you need to. Even if there wasn\'t a Sox game going on during my annual vacation on the cape, I probably would have still made the trip into Boston just for another chance at that Lobster Ravioli. Kudos to Rino and his staff. Best of the best. Eric |

Saw your place on DDD and we had to try it when we were visiting. We had a short wait for our table and went to get drinks across the street. They have a yummy selection of mixed drinks to choose from. We had bruschetta and the shrimp limoncello app....both lovely. Dinners consisted of the Rino\'s Special--shrimp, veal and chicken in a sinfully delicious sauce, the Halibut Special which was pan seared to perfection, and Lobster Ravioli. We all loved our meals. Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly, and Dick (our server) was so attentive and helpful with our menu selections. We will return! Although we think a west coast version in our neighborhood is needed!! |

After watching the episode that featured Rino\'s it went to the top of my list of triple D locations that I wanted to visit. I traveled to Boston for work and I was excited to finally have the opportunity. I took some co-workers and we had to wait a couple hours at his bar across the street. We had some apps there that were phenomenal! At the restaurant I ordered the Lobster Ravioli and awaited what I longed for :-) Rino\'s did not disappoint, the ravioli was absolutely incredible! The quality and presentation of the food is in a class of it\'s own, literally. Every dish I saw come out of the kitchen looked extra special with a lot of love. The bestItalian food I have ever had with no close second. We are planning a vacation in Boston just so we can go back... |

My sister and I decided to take a long drive from Western Mass so that Deana and I were able to get to Rino's at 11AM.Once we got there, I heard Tony (Chef) say you gotta be freaking kidding me-people are already here!!! Actually, thought it was quite comical, just by the tone of his voice, and his bad ass look, that on the exterior he is a tough cookie and on the inside I bet a real softie!!! So, I knew this was someone I could definitely joke around with and do some ball busting!!!! I excused myself from the table and went through the kitchen to the bathroom ,so on my way there I got to speak with Tony~~~I told him that I drove 2hrs to try his food and he better not disappoint~~ I told him I am wicked Italian (Can't you tell by my last name- Ha Ha~~). I know good food and I told him he better bring it on brother!!! It didn't take much to get this guy going! He gave me this **** eating grin and an nod and I completely got it!!! He said, "GAME ON" I was loving it!!! We started with the1/2 portion of Arancini(the rice balls); they were excellent and served w/ a plum tomato sauce. It reminded me of an Italian bakery in Hartford,CT that our parents took us to when we were kids, called Mozzicato's on Franklin Ave-very Italian section of Hartford. I had to do my Maternity rotation at Hartford Hospital, so the girls in the dorm were loving me when I came home with tons of treats from there. Still to this day one of my favorites, aside from Carmen's bakery!!!-I have to have loyalty to my adopted Italian family~~~Next, my sister ordered a 1/2 portion of limoncello shrimp served on a sauteed spinach. I have to say it was good, but my sister's version of this dish ~~~rocks the house, she even does scallops that way!!! Tony's sauce was a little heavy and over powering for the delicate shrimp .~~~ I had broccoli rabe with chicken and garlic(lots of it and I was in heaven) in a white wine sauce, it was excellent, I love this dish, either people love this veggie or hate it, it is wicked bitter, kinda reminds me of turnip or mustard greens!!! Yes, I did grow up in Agawam!!! I bet I was the only kid in Agawam eating grits for breakfast too~~~My dad was a truck driver and he introduced us all to different things the good old USA had to offer~~~Saw mill gravy, hush puppies, Memphis style ribs, my dad is on hell of a cook too!!! Deana had lobster tail, shrimp, and scallops over linguini, w/ a plum tomato sauce, she had a couple of bites, but she had her eye on the calamari. She asked me if she could order it, and I told her to go for it~~~ I'm OK with calamari, but when It came out, oh my goodness, it was mind blowing!!! and amazing~~~ I actually did not feel like i was chewing on Good Year Tires!!! By far if you like calamari go for it when you go next time!!! My sister told me that the Tiramisu she took home was very good! Chef Tony did not disappoint me at all and exceeded my expectations and everything was fresh and served piping hot!!! I got very lucky and found on street parking right in front of Rino's, my parking angels were with me today~~ I am a pasta e fagioli freak!!! ( I should have a bumper sticker on my car that says-I break for pasta e fagioli- I may be on to something:); I took a container home for lunch tomorrow, can't wait to try it. I was grazing all day, and did not finish a thing, the amount of food is ridiculous and I have a good 3 days worth of food at home. |

We traveled with friends from the Rochester NY area to dine at Rino's and couldn't have been happier. We specifically made the trip to Boston around the visitation to Rino's based on what we saw on Triple D and Guy was on the money with his enthusiasm for Chef Tony's creations. We started off across the street at "Before and After" , great idea, for drinks (Joseph the bartender was great) and appetizers. Outstanding and the 3 hours we had to wait flew by as we were entertained by Joseph and the staff there. Everyone was friendly and accomodating and treated us as regulars. We had the opportunity to meet and speak with Chef Tony and get a few pictures and he couldn't have been nicer. We went across the street and were treated with great service and not rushed at all. The lobster raviolis were fantastic as was the veal and chicken dishes we all shared. It was the the dining highlight of the long weekend and we will be back very soon. The Bleeckers and Koenigs |

Please explain to me why anyone would wait 2-3 (or more!) hours in line for your food. I'm not being sarcastic, it's just that I don't understand the fanatical devotion to it and the loosely-called "dining experience" when the customer is treated like cattle and then hurried out of the restaurant. Relaxing? No. |

Oh My God! Rino's Place in East Boston Ma, I have died and gone to heaven! I have eaten the best italian food on the entire planet. Fresh made to order food of unbelivable quality and impeccable taste! Well worth waiting 2 hours for Chicken Parm like no other and incredible pasta! Guy Fieri understated how incredible this place is on Diner's, Drive In's And Dive's. As he said this place is Off Da Hook! 10/25/2012 thank you Lucia you are an incredible waitress and ambassador of Rino's |

We have been planning our trip to Boston for 6 months. The must see thing on the top of our list was going to Rino's to dine. The show diners, drive-ins and dives had impressed us so much we had to go there. Guy you difinately need to come to Toronto to eat. We got there and were 23rd on the wait list. But we stayed since it was supposedly so amazing. After 1 and half hrs we went to check our place on the list thinking we must not have much longer to wait. We were shocked to find out we were now only number 22 on the list!! So we decided to order takeout with only one hour waiting time. Oh the bad luck! Just before the next hour wait, it was now 9pm, our table was ready. Only to find out we weren't allowed to have it because our takeout was ordered and almost ready. There is definitely no customer service here. Sadly we had to step back outside in the cold to continue waiting as there is no space inside to wait. I was confused though to still have to wait another 20 min for our takeout that was ready. So we got our food and left excitedly to finally be able to eat. As we were driving away our phone rings and it was Rino's telling us our table was now ready. REALLY. As you probably guessed by now I was SO NOT impressed by this place. And the worst kicker of all to us was after all that the food was not even good. If Guy thinks this is good food I don't know what he would do if he tasted some Canadian Italian food. Maybe the website should indicate that if you are going to go there for dinner to make a reservation or be prepared to wait 2 to 5 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

My wife and I were so excited about one potential meal while visiting Boston. Rino's was on the agenda and picked for our anniversary dinner. We did not really know what to expect arriving there for dinner and I was slightly disappointed at the long wait, however, everyone was kind and Prima E Doppo was a breath of fresh air while we comfortably waited. The wait was not long as anticipated and the food we were served was far worth the wait. I found the most wonderful thing about this place was knowing from DDD was that the owner has so much pride in what he is doing and rather than compromise the quality of the product, they have made a place to make it more comfortable to wait... BEST Italian food I have ever experienced and I have personally been on a mission to find it on all travels... |

My bf and I saw Triple D and are planning to come for a visit. Blown away by what we saw. We both have also spent time in the food service business, and I must admit when reading your testimonials, I am so impressed that your wife Anna answered a complaint directly. Very impressive. In my many years of bartending and waitressing, Ive come to learn that THE CUSTOMER IS NOT ALWAYS RIGHT. Anaa handled that with such dignity and grace, now I cant WAIT to go eat there!!! See you soon, Tyra!! |
