I can remeber when I joined The Great Western Railway in 1946 in the london area, but Know the west country well. I have Relalions living in Calne pity the Railway has gone. also my uncle was a boiler Inspector at Bath Road Shed, and my father was a Signalling Inspector at Wolverhampton Low Level. Keep up the good work looking forward to opening your site up again.
