Wrestler's sex crime jury out third day

An Atlanta jury was in its third day of deliberations Wednesday considering sex slavery charges against former pro wrestler Harrison "Hardbody" Norris Jr. Closing arguments in U.S. District Court ended Monday afternoon after Norris acted as his own lawyer, denying charges he kept nine women as sex slaves in two of his homes, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. During the two-week trial, prosecutors alleged Norris was a predator who used his wrestling business to lure poor and vulnerable women into a life of prostitution and forced labor. Monday, in his 90-minute summation the newspaper described as "rambling," Norris said he was a falsely accused patriot, humanitarian and businessman. He faces a raft of charges, including peonage or debt bondage, forced labor, sex trafficking, conspiracy and aggravated sex abuse. If convicted of any of them, the prison sentence could range from 20 years to life, the report said.
