My paternal great great grandparent came to Coloma in the 1860's and I visited their gravesites on a genealogy roadtrip. There is so much family history in this area 1850-1950 |

I had many relatives who lived here years ago. We used to visit my great uncle and aunt George and Katie Machan, at his gas station. It was great to "be a part of the history" of Coloma through my relatives, and visits here before I moved here. Wouldn't want to live anywhere else! I am trying to give as much to Coloma as it has given to me! |

Looking for any info on Steven or Anna Konsky who immigrated here from Prague, Czechoslovakia, probably around 1900. They had 2 children, Ann Rita born 1913 and Steven, probably born about 1918. |

My Grandfather owned 3 cottages on the North Shore in the 50s - early 70s. Vacationed there as a child. 25 years later my family vacationed there for 10-years renting from Fred Erickson. Best memories of my life. The Coloma area is truely Gods Country. |

Hello! I stumbled upon your website while looking for fundraising ideas for restoring an old home in our area. I am particularly interested in the idea of a"tooth fairy" and your chili cook off. Yum! Could you please send me some details? Loved the photos of your store. Thanks! |

So proud of this little town. I love coming home and being there among my family and friends. My favorite parts of town are the local grocery with their wonderful homemade bread, the Friday night fish frys, the street dances in the summer and swimming in Pleasant Lake. I have so many memories and because I bring my children to Coloma, they do too! A big hello to Uncle Rick and Aunt Marge, Uncle Ron and Phyllis, Wally King (favorite Science teacher), my cousins and Shari and Jerry (mom and dad)! |
