I recently became interested about life in Northern Alaska after a web news(yahoo maybe) story about the basketball team from Point Hope and then the storm coverage soon after. I'm no sports nut at all but I admired the kids tough spirit.
After seeing Kivalina on the weather web cams and looking up this site on yahoo I was drawn by MS Swan's discriptions of life in Kivalina. I've always been interested in life out in the far West Texas and New Mexico desert but North Alaska takes it to another level entirely. Your strength is inspiring.
