Life

I wonder if life as we know it is actually one more form of energy which is resident in every atom. What life we see could be an aggregated form of this energy. I know that a rock certainly looks lifeless but it could be a very basic aggregation without any senses and memory etc. A specialist aggregation like man with senses, memory, neurons can be a powerhouse of this life energy. We feel more energetic when we eat food hence we can reasonably say that life energy is equivalent to other forms of energy and follows principle of conservation of energy

Re: Life

are you saying that everything is all the same type of energy but in different relative forms and that digesting is akin to an electrical transformer altering energy to be compatible, so-to-speak?

Re: Re: Life

Hi,
There is no denying the fact that we feel more alive when we eat food and breathe air. Hence our life energy must be originating from the ordinary energy like chemical, kinetic and electromagnetic energy that we know of.
Considering the above we can say that life is also a unit of energy and yes it is transformable. But life energy transformation I think takes place in the brain not in the stomach

Re: Life

I think we ARE made up of energy and void.Nothing more. The only difference between us and a rock is that we are a form of organic matter instead of anorganic.Everything that exists is just another form of energy .Have u read Democrit? If not, read what he stands for(u won't regret it).I think he can explain it better than me.
