I've been working on mine since 1995, finally it makes noise....waiting for the first drive.

Might be getting closer than you think, Norm! Has some solid snow here in sunny southern California this April morning!

Got you guys beat: bought mine in '77 needing extensive work, been working on it continuously since then and now it only needs extensive work before it's [never] done.

I've decided to leave it to Norm in my will, just so he'll never have to miss out on the thrill of anticipation of being almost there, just a little more, nearly got it....
