Iowa raised registration rates too on vehicles bought after Jan 1 of this year. They go up next year also. I know trucks went up a lot but I'm not sure about cars since I haven't owned one in over 10 years.

I was going to buy a new Challenger. But I figured the registration would be about $1,500 to $2000 ? That buys for a lot of gas for the Power Wagon.
