Hi Girls n Guys, you may not of got an email from UK Triathlon, if not I thought I'd post it to everyone.
The first UK Triathlon Open Water Swim Night at Dearnford Lake, Whitchurch is this coming Wednesday the 6th June 5:30pm to 8pm.
You can still pre book a place for just £5 online by clicking HERE! (you could email: UK Triathlon [zoe@uktriathlon.co.uk) or turn up on the night for £6. Everyone receives a bottle of Gatorade!
You can arrive whatever time you like and we have free parking, changing facilities, free Asics drawstring bag and secure storage for your clothes and keys. We even have a qualified swimming coach on hand if you need a few free tips.
The water temperature is currently 21-22 degrees Celcius (70-72 degrees Fahrenheit) so wetsuits are not compulsory.
Why not make an evening of it and treat yourself to a meal at the Lakeside Café with their locally sourced products. See the menu HERE
Unfortunately there are no wetsuits for hire for the swim night but we do have wetsuits to buy and we still offer triathlon event wetsuit hire which is £50 for three weeks or £80 for the triathlon season ending October 2012. If you decide to keep the wetsuit after your use of it, then you just pay the full price.
