I'm away so can't do but I'm sure you could pester the Dervs.......!!!!!!!!!

I'll help with marshalling etc again.

I'm trying to persuade Alex to race but he's racing on Sunday. Will let you know if I win the argument

Is it 7pm start of the race? I'm planning to get there after work around 6pm ?

Details of the Aquathlon
Chop you are welcome to help out and 6.30 will be fine


* There is a map/directions on the Stafford Tri Forum (front page under Blithfield Open Water)

* Car parking will be in the field opposite the Site Office (first building on right as you enter the site)

* Last registration at 6.30pm @ Sailing Club

* Briefing at 6.45pm

* Start at 7pm

* Entry fee £5 each

* 750m swim - entrance exit 50m down from sailing club & transition will be by the boats on the grassland & a 5km run on undulating single track/pathways to the causeway and back, keeping left at all times. Return to finish line, keep in order of finishing and collect a numbered band. The band will be given to your allocated NON RACING club official to do the scoring for each club. It will be each clubs responsibilty to get their own scores registered.

* The first 4 Vet Male s(40+), 4 Senior Vets & 2 Women count from each club

* I have been asked about youngtsers taking part and would suggest 14 years old be the youngest as it is a mass start

The awards will take place in the Sailing Club bar where there will be alcohol/soft drinks on sale
I will be there from 5pm.
