A bigger team for the men, (where were the women?) than the last race converged on Stafford Common to do battle with the infamous bog ditch. Suprisingly it was more of a slippery patch of mud this year!
The weather was a typical november day, overcast, and chilly. The conditions underfoot were very firm, and the course was rolling, but no steep hills.
