After a few beers during the recent club social Bri persuaded me to agree to do this - we also shook hands on it which he then told me was legally binding and enforceable by law.

So if there's a place going in any of the teams - I'm in.

Details of the 4 up TT as supplied by Paul Jennings from stone wheelers


Wheelers and local clubs



As per my previous e-mail the charity 4 up Team Trial will take place on the Swynnerton course again this year on Friday 20th July with all proceeds going to Donna Louise Childrens Hospice.



The event will be run jointly by Stone Wheelers a CC and Lyme RC and I can now finalise some of the details.



· Circuit is approx. 17 miles based on 1.5 laps of Stone Road Race circuit, start is by army camp at Cold Meece and finish at Cotes Heath after a lap and a half.

· HQ will be Cotes heath Village Hall and will be open from 4.30pm

· First team off will be at 6pm with teams going off at 3 minute intervals , last team will be 7.30 which gives capacity for 30 teams but we can extend if required.

· Will be run under CTT rules so 3 riders must finish to record a time

· All team members should ideally be dressed in the same kit.

· Entry £20 per team

· Light refreshments will be available.

· Trophies will be awarded for fastest mens, ladies and junior teams

· Open to all local teams , have had MTB teams in past



I know some of you have expressed interest but I now need some formal entries and names of team members . I am happy to except e-mail confirmation initially of teams and names initially but will need that followed up with a completed CTT form as attached and the entry fee for each team, ideally a cheque payable to Stone Wheelers CC.

Cut-off date for entries will be the 10th July. Late entries may be accepted if capacity available. Start sheets will go out by e-mail only. Depending on number of entries we may have to limit number of teams from each club.

Just to clear the confusion regarding the CTT form,

One form per team, put each riders name on the form(rider 1,rider 2,rider 3,rider 4) then put an emergency contact name and number.

This was how i put the RRP teams in along with sending a follow up e-mail to Paul Jennings of Stone Wheelers and it worked for me.
