In view of the recent unfortunate events on the Dougie Mac ride(Sun20th May) where some of our riders were injured after being involved in an accident, i have contacted a company called "ROAD ID" in America who specialize in wristbands/anklebands etc which can carry personal details to contact in case of an emergency. Thay have said that they can offer a club discount of 20% on all purchases over a 20 day period(they will supply the club with a unique code to use at the time of purchase).

These items are great to wear whilst training when both alone or in a group or even wearing all the time. We all hope the worst will never happen but as sunday shows, sometimes it does. I would urge everyone to wear one, maybe even buy your family members one too.

They are really quickly made, can carry multiple types of personal information and are dispatched within days. Please give it plenty of thought as it may just save your or somebody else's life.
