Mammoth TT this Saturday the 7th May

Round 3

In addition the fantastic 1st, 2nd & 3rd prizes donated by Mammoth, RRP are donating:

£50 Mammoth voucher for the fastest overall average time – minimum 3 rounds entered.

£20 Mammoth voucher for the fastest individual time - our current leader is Andy Moore with a time of 00:23:16.

To be awarded at the end of year awards ceremony.

Again 2 Man/Woman/Mixed teams for something a bit different!

Can thou ride Tandum .... you can if you ask the great guys & girls at Mammoth, 24hrs notice require to prep the machine!!!!!

The overall course record is still at 21:34 set by Andy Moore. The 2 up Course record is 25:08 set by DG and Sean

Single riders as normal, Doubles will not contest the competition.

Details below:

Please arrive at Mammoth Cycles at 8am to register. £2.00 per rider
The TT will start at approximately 8.30am with the last rider registering at 8.15am
The TT has not been affiliated through British Cycling or British Triathlon. It is being run for Triathletes/Cyclists to have a friendly monthly ride and see how their training is going.

There will be no marshals or direction signs on the course. Please familiarise yourself with the course before hand. (It takes 15mins to drive around it)

Results will be given out afterwards at Mammoth Cycles, brand new store at Milford Common.

Course description

Starts at Bus Stop (by Police Headquarters) at Weeping Cross on the A34 (riders will be set off in 30 second intervals)
Ride along A34 (approx 5 miles) to Pottal Pool Island (turnaround point)
Ride back along A34 back towards Weeping Cross (finish on opposite side of road to the starting point)
Things to be aware of
Pedestrian Crossing by Wildwood Estate (Traffic lights)
Cross roads at the Brocton turn on the A34 (be cautious)
Pottal Pool Island (be aware of all traffic on island)

The Highway Code is to be abided by at all times.
