Verification with Google

I have registered my site with google, but can't seem to get it past the verification stage.

I am using the Wizard and when I try to copy and paste the required html code to the header it erases some of it when I bounce back to it from the Visual Editor.

I have had my site since December, registered it with Google about 2 weeks ago, and can't seem to get anywhere with it.

Suggestions???

first and before doing so fix this :

Add a keywords and a description, then when u want to verify, add the Meta Provided by google under :

<meta name="author" content="" />


for exemple

Why not just use the text file option instead?

Google take a time to crawl your site I think if you get good powerful link for it then it will get crawl in small time.
