What do you do with yours? Throw them away? Donate them and if so to whom? Sell them and if so for how much? And while I'm at it, we've got some toys with missing parts so if your toy library would happen to have any of these around, please let us know!!! I've advertised them in the underrated Marketplace http://pub36.bravenet.com/passwd/show.php
Cheers, C.
Toy Library: Mangere Bridge Plunket Puzzle & Toy Library
We try sell discontinued toys at a cheap price (normally only a few dollars but this depends on the quality, usage etc) to our members or on trade me depending on what it is. We will usually take any parts out that can be used for other things first though e.g men etc.
Tried your link to the missing parts without success i'm afraid. If you e-mail me your list i will have a look and see what we have in spare parts.
Thanks Lurline, we might consider Trademe as well. The list is here: http://pub36.bravenet.com/classified/show.php?usernum=3066887205&cpv=2
Incidentally, did you enquire about a bouncy castle some time back? Did you end up doing anything about it?

Hi ,our library had an open day recently and sold of some of our toys that were slightly damaged or had not gone out for a few years .we also remove any parts that are useful to keep as spares.
we also did up a box of toys and games for children in hospital and have also donated toys to other associations that look after children
Hi
We hold an annual toy garage sale and along with deleted toys we ask for donations of Toys, games, puzzles only - no general stuff so that there is a Toy focus. For the past three yrs we have raised up to $1,000 each time. It takes a nice person to store for a wee while & we price fairly but so it sells and stick price tags on with info if broken or missing parts. after that we leave in Toy Library to sell for a few weeks or so then send to a Charity shop.
