USS Quincy 1936, first cruise

Hello;

My father, Cecil Leroy Wood was part of the Marine contingent aboard the USS Quincy for her maiden voyage. He was aboard for the sea trials and then went with her to Spain to help evacuate foreign nationals. I have a few photos of the time. Not many. Have pic of Capt Paul Bastedo, Commander C.E. Battles XO, a pic of the Quincy at Gibraltar and the Panama Canal(1937), Capt Anasden taking command June 9, 1936, raising of the colors (1936), a third pic of the Quincy and scans of the program for the ships ball at the Bradford Hotel, Boston, Dec 4, 1936, and a scan of the ships postcard from their trip to Spain. If anybody would like copies, email me and I will gladly send them to you. They are larger TIFF files, or if you want I can send smaller jpegs.
