Well once again sports fans its the race to the AK's. Classic Army just released the SLR-105 which is basically an AK-47 with black grips, full metal reciever, new flashider, and a ribbed forgrip, as well as a few minor changes that make operating and using more enjoyable. Such as putting the rear sling mount on the stock, instead of on the reciever. Shooting 320 fps out of the box and just about 1-2 inches longer than the TM ak-47 should make this gun a very user friendly gun in CQB or woodland arena games.

Now not to be outdone G*G is pre-ordering out their RK-104. The Rk-104 is essentially the SLR-105, but with a few changes. No ribbed forgrip for the more traditional ak look, and they use normal TM highcaps instead of the straighter less curved ak mags.

The one major difference is, instead of having 2 inches of barrel after the gas block in the front, they just put the front sight and then a spetnaz flashider. Shortening in a considerable 3-4 makes it easy to carry into battle. Also it is shooting 350 fps stock out of the box so don't let that small size fool you, this thing can pack a punch.
