This "leftover" reel to reel is NON-working, although it does show signs of life when plugged in (levels guages light up!). It does NOT go "'round and 'round" when Play, or Rec, or FF/REV are selected.....
Still, I'd rather NOT THROW IT IN A LANDFILL!
One half of the suitcase-like assembly is the 2 detachable speakers.--they clamp on to the top of the tapedeck and the whole thing becomes a (heavy) carry-able case. These speakers DO work, have RCA-type connectors, and the cords are still fairly supple. Pics available. INTERESTED, e-mail Mcswike@hotmail.com.
