hi guys

this forum is probably my last chance with this request.

my wives uncle was shot down over france in 1944, hes buried there with his pilot. im looking for a picture of his a/c. it was lw166 'S' of 427 sqn RCAF.

ive tried every source known to me including canadian war museum and their national military archives and 427sqn itself but with no luck. the a/c was only in service (a matter of weeks) before being shot down so im assuming there simply isnt anything in existance.

if anyone does have a picture of it or have any ideas where i may find one id appreciate it. we've spent 2 years researching the tragedy of the night in question including all the crew members themselves and a picture of their a/c would bring this tale to a conclusion.
