The 408sqdn bit threw me a little but have found out that although initially with 408, they were at 1679 Heavy Conversion Flight at the time of crash, which was in Lancaster DS615, the pilot realised he was going to undershoot the runway and opened up the throttles to go around again, this sudden action is presumed to have choked the two port engines and the a/c crashed, killing three and injuring three, one of whom died from injuries later.
