431 R.C.A.F (Iroquois) Sqdn. Book
This memo is posted here with the permission of the 6 Group webmaster.
I have had my book on 431 Squadron published and it is now availble to those interested parties. It sells for $40.00 Canadian funds plus mailing/shipping,there are no taxes.
It is based on the Operations Record Book of the Squadron but has much more than just the Op's that this Squadron flew on during WW11. It is 8.5" x 11" it contains 308 pages, approx 25-35 photographs of various types and individuals.
While I don't want to discourage anyone, I feel obligated to warn those interested from outside of Canada that airmail costs are horrendous and in some cases can almost double the cost of the book itself, you do have the choice to ship by surface mail (sea) which takes about 4-6 weeks to the U.K.
