I received this request for a Ro80 for a charity Auction Show:

"I am on the Vehicle Selection Committee for the 2005 Eyes on Design automobile exhibition and would like to invite you to show your Ro 80 (if you still have it) at this year's event. If you have not heard of us before, we are similar to a Concours d'Elegance but with a focus on design over perfect restoration. The NSU Ro 80 is an example of extraordinary design and we would be honored to have an example at our show.

The show will take place at the Edsel & Eleanor Ford House in Grosse Pointe Shores, Michigan (near Detroit). The festivities begin Friday the 24th of June, culminating in the public show on Sunday the 26th. It is a charity event that benefits the Detroit Institute of Ophthalmology, so we cannot offer any financial help in bringing the car to the show, nor do we award any prize money (for more info on the charity see www.eyeon.org)
