Fluid treatment for CRF

Can someone tell me if fluid treatment (SQ injections)for a cat with CRF is ongoing? In other words, can the cat stop getting the injections once her renal values are at the normal levels? I can't seem to find this answer anywhere, and right now I'm taking my baby to the vet for her injections. Unfortunately, my attempts to administer the injections even with my family's help wasn't successful. She swirmed a lot and wouldn't hold still. She would also tense up and refuse to crouch down. I've tried using a syringe and that really didn't help. She needs at least 80cc in her. Thanks.
