Kasey: We certainly know what you are going through. We were absolutely awful at giving our Megan her fluids. I praise all those who are able to do it day after day. You are wonderful. We are so incredibly fortunate that there is a gal at our vet's office that has agreed to come and give Megan her fluids and Pepcid for a small fee. It has been WELL worth it. Any chance that there is someone in your vet's office that could do this for you if you can handle it monetarily? We are so fortunate that Megan has improved to the point of only needing fluids once a week. I know that this is not the usual story for CRF kitties, so we are sooooo very thankful for her recovery so far. But we certainly keep a watchful eye on her at all times. We will be praying for you and your little baby. It's a tough situation that we all have found ourselves in with these special-needs kitties. Hang in there and keep us posted on your progress.

Has anyone else had problems with sub Q's. Ive only been giving them for five days. The first two, he was fine, a little growling but he let me do it. I did it while he was eating which is what my vet had done for a week and said worked fine. After those first two days he has gotten increasingly aggressive when i give them to him, scratching, biting, growling, and hissing. Ive tried giving it to him at different times a day, while he's eating, after he eats, different locations, etc. I have only been able to give him half for the past two days so Im gonna have to take him to the vet tomorrow so she can give it to him. I dont know what to do. i feel like a failure and Im afraid my cat is going to end up hating me. Any suggestions?
