what's the difference between a 1932 3 cent washington perforated 10V and one that's perforated 10H
can someone help. I have a couple of 1932 3 cent washington stamps, but I dont' know what they mean perforated 10 V or perforated 10 H. Somehow it makes a difference.

The stamps you are asking about are from coils rather than sheets. They only have perforations (holes) along two sides, instead of all four sides as would a stamp from a sheet. The H stands for horizontal which means the holes run along the top and bottom. The V stands for vertical which means the holes run up and down the sides.
