I have a blueshawk that I have recently aquired.. It plays beautifully....!

It does have a problem however.. The finish is horibly scratched. I have hand buffed out most of this but need to do a light refinishing on it. I was wondering if anyone knew if the finish is nitro or poly?

I have so far found no information on the clear finish..

Congratulations on your new Hawk. I know the feelin...just got mine last week and it's like bein on Cloud Nine, eh?

I have the same question you have...what kind of finish is on the BluesHawk and how to work with the finish.

I have a bit of what I'd call crinkle, like the finish and wood were explosed to hot, dry air...or perhaps to a bit of water?
