In July 2011 I've bought my Gibson Nighthawk. I was searching for information about my serial number but do not understand it.

My serial number is:
94001875
YDDDYPPP

So does this mean that my Gibson is from the 400th ?? day of 1991 and was the 875th guitar on the productionline that day?

I think that's strange because Nighthawk was launched in 1993 and the 400th day isn't right at all :)
