I am new to all of this. My grandfather died when I was a child and while going through some old boxes I found birth certificates for him and his siblings which listed them as Black Seminole. He was fluent in spanish which would hold true to the history of crossover into Mexico. Our surname is Bruno. I remember being told as a child that it was originally Bruner. I'm interested in learning all that I can. if anyone has any info or knows where I should look I would appreciate it. :)
