Hello, Seminole Roll No. 117 Census Card # 29 July 1898,lists Rebecca West age 36, father listed as John Jumper and Mother as Polly. Both parents listed as Seminole and deceased during enrollment. Husband of Rebecca is Thomas West age 60. Children listed as Martha age 11, Legus age 9 and Daniel age 1. Daughter Sissy Marks age 13 from previous husband John Marks, listed as "non" meaning not Seminole or Creek and living during enrollment. The only other "Jumper' Listed in the Seminole rolls is a Lizzie Jumper.

Re: Johnson/Jumper

I am John Jumper's descendent. My great grandfather was Arthur Phillip Jumper. My grandmother is still alive and in her 90's. Samuel was back up the line too. I followed this trail all the way back to Johannes Conrad Schumbert from the Black Forest Region of Germany. Would like to hear from all descendents of John Jumper.

Re: Johnson/Jumper

These don't list relationship, but most of the time it is immediate family such as brothers and sisters with parents. Maybe this might help open some more doors to determining other members of your line.

If there are person's who did not make the next year's annuity payment (children in your case), it was more likely they passed away.

I didn't do all of the books, but enough to give you an idea of who was in the household every year annuity payments were listed in the books. I hope this helps. Good luck! Sue

Re: Johnson/Jumper

Sue, The information that you entered on the vouchers is outstanding! By chance can you enter more vouchers? Are there any vouchers on the Jumper family from 1850 to 1865? I have interest in Polly's Daughters Lizzie and Sally. I am trying to identify as many of the children as I can. Your work is very important in this process.
Respectfully,
Lee
