Serching for a distant relative

Looking for some information on Seminole Chief named George Washington DAvis, early 1800's I think. He was the great, great, great Grandfather of my grandmother, Elsie Davis. Have no more details than that. If yuo know where I can find information on this person, please let me know.

I don't know that there was a Seminole Chief with the last name of Davis. Check out the link on here un Seminole Leaders. There is also no Chief by that name prior to our removal.

Re: Searching for a distant relative

Before 1898, All Individuals of the United States
were considered to be of U.S. Military Families.
Their History is recorded in the U.S. Military
Records, which are under the State Territories,
such as the Oklahoma Indian Territory / Ohio Territory, etc. inside the Realm of the Forestry
History, of each State.....Dept. of Interior.
I've discovered many answers to Genealogy Questions
by researching military records.
All Wars & Soldiers were Recorded since the French & Indian War 1750's in Ohio Territory, some details
recorded by my cousin George Washington the Father
of Government of the United States of America.
There was a George Washington Davis living in Arkansas / Oklahoma Indian Territory, late 1880's or so...in a Community known as Cass, in Haskell County, Oklahoma.
