My friend is of ill health. He and his mother were adopted by a family in New York. They were taken from the Mohawk Reservation near Desaranto Canada. He was never allowed to be told of his indian heritage. His Grandfather came to Florida to live on the Seminole Indian Reservation. His grandmother is said to have been an indian princess. I have been trying to contact anyone that can help find information for my friend who has no one left of his family to ask. I tried indian affairs in Canada but did not receive any help. Who can I contact to search records or where I can go to get any information. Thank you.
