Emahaka and Mekasukey missions
Hello, my name is Dan Tiger. I work for the Seminole Nation Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). I would like to know how to get floor plans for either mission. If you have any information it would be greatly appreciated. MVTO

There's a couple pictures on this web site, and at the Seminole Nation Museum, but I doubt you will find any floor plans. Is the Tribe planning on rebuilding one of the schools?

While I don't have access to floor plans, I can refer you to a published book that describes what functions and classrooms were on each floor of Emahaka. The book was written by the daughter of W. P. Blake.
The book is "Reminiscences of Mary Blake Hixson" and can be reviewed at the library of OBU in Shawnee, OK. I also have a copy of the book in my possession, as I'm doing genelogical research on my family and W. P. Packer, the Superintendent of Emahaka was the brother of my Great-Grandfather.
