I have been told since I was 10 years old (i'm 27 now)I am a direct decendant of John F. Brown. I am trying to find out more informaton of who his wife was and the family members since then to trace my roots. Anybody know where I would start? I've found my family is from the Royal Tiger clan as Lucy Greybeard would be a 5x great aunt (sister of John F.) but that's about all i've been able to find out.

Lucy Graybeard aka Redbird, was married to Dr. John F. Brown. Dr. John F. Brown was from Scotland and was contracted by the US to accompany Seminoles to Oklahoma. That is where he met and married Lucy. They had several children one of which was Governor John F. Brown. I am a greatx3 grandson of Dr. Brown. If you want more information feel free to contact me.
