I just got the book and CD called "What Duck Done"
and love it! You can listen to the bass only (left
channel) to focus completly on the bass or pan to the right and play along with the band sans the bass.
If you are interested in his style I would reccommend
it highly, plus it's fun to be the "Duck" in the music.

I have to check that out ! Sounds as cool as standing in the shadows of Motown book.

I just got this book. It's a really good resource and very helpful is learning what Duck done, er does. I do wish that in addition to the sheet music, they'd provided TAB or given tips on which strings/frets were used. Has anybody worked this out? There's one passage in "She Caught the Katy" that is particularly challenging for me to get.
