i was googling JI for some info for my dad and found this forum and all the sites for JI. my dad was stationed there in 46-47. He actually met my mother there , she lived on the island with her dad who was stationed there. So i grew up hearing stories about JI from my dad and my granddad! i have many pictures, mostly with my dad in them though. my dad will be so tickled to find out about all the JI groupies on the internet! He is 80 tomorrow and hasn't a clue about computers (and doesn't care, either!!! ha ha)
