I was in 24SS Comm (TV maint). We probably met but my old fuzzy brain now doesn't recall all! Remember?... Continental flights and the "Stews" donating their "undies" to run up the flag pole?! The Navy pilot landing his fighter on a foamed runway and singing "Happy Birthday" to himself over the radio as he landed?! Many of us gathering on top of the Ops Bldg to watch the early morning reentry of the Gemini 8 space capsule?! Late night launches of the Thor missiles? And of course the "Nat'l Forest" of 8 trees! Not a bad assignment for "isolated-remote".
