Just wondering if there's still anyone around who was stationed on J.I. during 1953-1954 who worked in ATC.
I was in Voice-Air to Ground for six months and then in the Control Tower for the last 6 months.
I still have memories of the place and photos to boot.
Some great times were had on that island. Almost hated to see it transformed to what it became.
As I was leaving in '54, they were already brining stuff in for the changes that took place.
Nice to remember it as it was.
