GMEVA&GMLSV

Hi everyone,
Hope all are well and can enjoy this Valentines Day.
The weather was beautiful yesterday-about 72 with lots of sunshine. Supposed to be nice today also. I love Tucson in the winter! Everyone ride safely.

Re: GMEVA

Hi, Gang!!
33 In albuquerque this morning and sunny, headed for a high of 49. It got into the low 50's yesterday...A beautiful day to ride! Went to NAPA yesterday to get the battery for Ol'Faithful. The guy puts it on the bench, and pulls out a plastic bottle of acid. I said, "Wait a minute! I've been working with batteries for over 20 years and have NEVER seen an SLA battery that you had to put the acid in!" It was Saturday, so we couldn't get ahold of the manufacturer so the gentleman at the counter gave me his card and told me to check with him Monday. I will probably get my money back and order one online.
What a dissapointment...and I held a really high opinion of NAPA. Guess I'll have to re-evaluate.
OH WELL!!!!! Everyone HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!

Re: GMEVA

Good evening all
Hope yall had a great Valentines day. Sounds like beautiful riding weather there in Tucson (or Vail) Bob. It will be getting up to that here in a while.
Good to hear from you and T.C. Hope all is well there in the faaaar West. Hopefully you aren't getting drenched for a bit.
Have been busy going back and forth to the hosiptal this weekend. Cindy's mom went in Thursday night. Her doctor didn't like the looks of some blood tests. She had an infection so they have her on antibiotics.
Then yesterday morning she wasn't very responsive. She finally started coming out of it just before noon. She is doing much better today. Hopefully will be coming home in 3 or 4 days the Doctor says.
Cindy has been spending all her time there. She comes home to clean up during the day while I am there. Fortunately I am off tomorrow so will be there most of the day again. Went after church today. Missed the Daytona 500, but was able to see the last 15 laps when I got home this afternoon. What I saw was great.
Good luck with the battery Hank. Hope you are feeling better and getting all the medication back in the correct balance.
Anyone here planning on going to the SFR? I am hoping to go, but will be leaving Saturday afternoon to get back for Palm Sunday service.
Yall have a great day.
