Good morning all
A cooler 44 heading for 75. Looks to be another great day.
Have the plastic off the bike to adjust the valves. Now have to take the valve cover off and check the clearance and go from there. Should have it done today.
Then I will be ready for Sadies in just 8 days.

Do you have to replace the valve cover gasket? When I adjusted the valves on an old KZ1000 I used to have, I would have to buy a new gasket which cost about $50.00.

No, I do not have to replace the gasket. Although I might after next time. It is not a normal gasket, but a rubber re-usaable gasket.
I am almost done, had to change out 5 shims. Time to go to a funeral now though. Then I will put the cams back and check the clearance again.
