Re: Good Morning and Merry Christmas

Had a very nice Christmas Eve program at our church last night. Then went over to our son's house to open the non-Santa gifts, and didn't get home till about 1:00 AM. Now it's up again at 6:00 AM and back over to do Christmas stocking gifts (provided by Santa of course). Thank goodness we only live a mile from our son. Hope you all have a blessed Christmas Day.

Ditto on the Christmas Eve service. Had one at 7 and one at 11. All the candles lit and singing Silent Night makes it hard to keep a dry eye.
Now helping Cindy get ready for Christmas Dinner. Family here and more coming from Las Cruces.
Yall have a MERRY CHRISTMAS and be sure to remember the purpose of the day and GIVE THANKS FOR THE SON.

Re: Good Morning and Merry Christmas

Good morning all again
I have been thinking again about the new year. Kawasaki is saying the VV1700 will be available March 2009. The Arizona Bike Week is the first weekend in April and Kawasaki has been there in the past with demo rides so I am thinking they will be there again next year.
What do yall think about a get-together there to see and ride the new bike? That Sunday is Palm Sunday so I would have to be back Saturday night, but we could meet Friday or Saturday morning, ride and maybe go out to eat. I found a BBQ place in Phoenix that is supposed to be good. We could make it an official EV event. I am planning on taking Friday off, so could leave Thursday after work and get there Friday morning. I went to Arizona Bike Week last year. There are lots of manufactures giving demo rides. The vendor area was OK, but as usual is mostly leather and HD stuff.
When I go to Phoenix I usually like to ride thru Silver City and take the road to Three Way where we went on the ET this year. Then thru Safford and Globe and over the Superstition Mountains into Mesa. I usually make almost to Globe to a casino there that has a camping area to spend the night.
Let me know what you think. I could put it on our calendar if we would like to make it official. I believe this would be the first available official Kawasaki demo ride for the VV1700.

Merry Christmas, Everybody!!Weather yesterday was beautiful!  It was clear and cool all day.  I gave Rusty another try...Now I'm blowing out the fan relay.  I guess I have a dead shoirt to ground somewhere.  The bad part is, I can't just wire around it because the same wire that provides power to the fan also powers other things (like the horns, for instance).  I finally broke down and bought a magnifying glass so I could read the printing on the schematic.   I'll try again tomorrow. After all that frustration, our Christmas Eve service was beautiful.  The caroling was wonderful, and one of our pastors preached a very thought provoking sermon.  No candles this year, however (darn!).  The temperature this morning is 35 under cloudy skies, with a chance for snow this morning.MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JESUS!!!Ride Safe & Sane;Hank,Rusty & Ol'FaithfulVoyager 1300/6~The Original Voyager!

Rod, what happened to the Spring Fun Run (Our annual EVA/LSV ride)? Isn't it in April? I'm planning on making that this year, then heading out in mid-May for my western US Tour.

G-M, all....those that are fortunate t get good riding weather today, please remember that that will probably be a bunch of new (Christmas presents) motor driven transportaion on the road that may not be paying attention. Please ride safe, be alert.
Those that have family in make every second count because we never know...........
2 sons & family comng in later today, 1 in Korea...all he's talked about is how (in Army lingo") cold it is & all the snow they have.
And remember as John H. says.....wear your protective gear, you never need it until you need it.
May God bless you all & your families..Merry Christmas from the windy Texas panhandle.

Heck, RR, that's practically in our back yard. I would like to go. Have to check with Dorothy but I think we can plan on it.
