Good Morning, All;
70/94 in ABQ today, no rain in sight. Riding in again, and have a prayer meeting at church that I want to make this evening. Bob, my place in Mountainair is 80 miles (by road) from ABQ. If I could fly, it would be somewhere between 40 and 50 miles. It's on the east side of the mountain range that is east of ABQ...a nice quiet place with a pop. of about 1200.

Well I got 'er done! Yesterday had off and on rain showers which was not conducive to outside painting. So I changed out my front tire on the Xll with an Avon Cobra bias ply. Never run a Cobra before but have heard good reviews, and I am partial to Avons. I also changed the oil and filter, and tried putting in some Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer with the oil. I haven't tried a new strategy for the annoying valve clicking in a long time. Time will tell whether this helps any. So, other than packing, I am ready for ET. Have a blessed day.
