Good morning all
Down to 58 and heading for 82 with clear skies again. The rain was nice. The desert will soak it up. Wasn't a hard rain, just long and gentle. No little league last night as the fields were too wet to work yesterday. That means the cancelled games will be tacked onto the end of the season.
At least I was able to work on the carport last night for a while.
Only 2 more days until lunch at the Cantina in Willard at 11:30.
Yall have a great day.
Hey RR, how big is your carport? I just recently scraped "popcorn" off my living room ceiling. Now I still have to finish the corners, and texture and paint. I love having projects to work on.
Good morning. This is the weekend for the Aspencash rally in Ruidoso. I wont be able to make it this time. Bob B sent me a text and said they have been 1600 miles so far in there cross country ride and Jims shifter lever has fallen off three times. That wouldn't be any fun.
Have a good day!
Good afternoon, All;
Thermometer says 70, it feels warmer because of the humidity.
RR, I'm going to have to bow out of the lunch, I'm having health problems (trouble breathing because of the wet wx), and I don't want to have to fight weather. I'm wondering if that gent back east is still doing the seat padding for 100.00 a pop. I might get ahold of him. Brad, do you ride to the AspenCash? I prefer smaller rallies, myself. Everyone Have a Wet Day!!
Ride Safe & Sane;
& 'the Grey Lady' (in ICU)
I guess when Bob told me 1600 miles that was including the ride to west coast to start the ride. And he said Jim tried some red lock tight and it still fell off. And yes Hank I ride to the events in the spring and fall normally. The Aspen Cash is not as big as the Golden Aspen for some reason. I guess the time of year makes the difference.
