Good morning

Good morning all
Pleasant morning so far, down to 43 and heading for 70 with normal clear skies. Looks to be about the same for the next several days.
Cold in Alpine. Currently 30 at the Frosted Alaskan with clear skies. Hopefully it will be in a warming trend in another week.
Lunch ride next month is official, on Saturday, the 18th at 11 AM. I will have to remember, that is Arizona time, so will have to account for the time difference. That would be noon New Mexico time. So far, I am planning on heading to Silver City Friday to spend the night in our normal camping place and head to Safford Saturday morning. The lunch is on our calendar.
Yall have a great day.

Re: Good morning

Good Morning, All;
42/69 in ABQ today, with a chance for rain later in the week. I'm debating whether or not I should get the rear tire on Lil'Putt replaced before the SFR. If I do, it'll be tight financially, but the tire has a plug in it and is a bit thin, so I'll need to see if I can come up with some money somewhere. RR, the Lunch Ride looks good, and NM going to DST solved a problem I was having...Lunch at 11:00 NM time was too early, I didn't want to make it an overnight ride. Since 11:00 AZ time is 12:00 NM time, I should be able to make it. It's about a 6-hour ride each way. Everyone Have a Great Day!!

Re: Good morning

All right, I guess lunch in Safford is a go. RR, are you going to make HCT this year? I've been working on my bike, replacing all the coolant hoses and the infamous o-rings that go on the water manifold. All was going well when I discovered that an "ear" welded onto the frame had cracked from stress, and actually came off in my hand. This ear is a support for the radiator, and more importantly a support for the fairing frame. I think I can get in there with my welder and repair this. The ear on the other side also shows signs of cracking, and I will repair this as well. I will report on my success later.

Re: Good morning

Bob, yes I am plannig on making the HCT this year (finally). Looking forward to that and the SFR. I will bring my registration along to the SFR.
Good luck with your work on the XII. I remember changing the o-rings on my 93 XII. Was lots of fun. Fortunately, I didn't have the problem with the ears which hold the radiator.
See ya next week.
