Good morning

Good morning all
Cooler again this morning, down to 33 and heading for 65 with clear skies. Temps are looking good for the next week. Lows in the mid to upper 30's and up to the upper 60's. Enjoying this time of year.
Everything went well with Cindy Tuesday. The procedure seems to be a success, but have to wait a few days to see. Going back for a checkup in a couple weeks.
Yall have a great day.

Re: Good morning

Good Morning, All;
32/61 in ABQ today, with a few clouds. I have a problem...The tach on the NT spends way too much time in the red zone. I need to remember that this is a commuter bike, NOT a sportbike! Planning on getting a lot done this weekend, saving up for riding (and finishing up the cage. RR, it's great to hear that your wife's surgery went well. I'm praying for her recovery.
Everyone Have a Great Day!!

Re: Good morning

Gosh, I don't believe the tach on my Xll has ever been in the red.

Re: Good morning

Yeah me too. I nearly always shift between 7 & 7.5k on my Voyager. But those Hondas - they all have 12k redlines don't they? My bike's scattered all over the yard right now. In the middle of lubing the "propeller shaft".

Re: Good morning

Definitely never been in the red on my XII, or C14 either. Probably highest on the C14 has been probably 6 or 7K. Normally only 4 to 5K.

Re: Good morning

I don't think I ever red-lined any of my Voyagers but I'm sure I came close on several occasions. I've never red-lined either of my BMWs but I have had the rev limiter kick in on a few occasions. In spite of being twin cylinder engined, my BMWs seem to rev easier than any of my three Voyagers.

Re: Good morning

I think it's a matter of displacement. All of those bikes have a lot more than 700cc and 60hp!! The NT is a V-Twin and redlines at 8500.
See Ya on the road (as you pass me!!)

Hank, my RT redlines at 8000. If my rev limiter kicked in, that means I got pretty close to that.

Re: Good morning

Hi, Dave...
Lesssee, the RT is about 11 or 1200 CC and around 130 horses If I recall. That's kind of like comparing a corvette to a Hyundai!!!
See you at the SFR!!!
