Morning to one and all! Dorothy and I are heading out this AM to Gilbert Az, about a 120 mile ride. Should be a great weekend with friends we've known a whole lot of years. Should be coming home Sunday PM. I inspected the tires yesterday and found a small nail in the center of the rear tire. I plugged it with a mushroom plug. This is the second time I have plugged this tire, and I have 8000 on the clock since the first plug. No problems. The tire is showing some significant wear, and I'm debating replacing it before VH. We'll see. RR, sorry to hear you and Hank will not make VH. These get-togethers just don't seem right without your presence. Just think about life after retirement! Everyone be safe.

I run Metzlers & get 10-15k on rear tires & 18-22k on the front. I replace them ASAP if I have a flat. Recently at 8k, worst case was @ 1500 miles - always the rear tire when I have a flat.

Good morning all
A rather cool morning again, down to 48 but up to 59 already. Heading for 80. Saw only 75 yesterday, but it is warming up a bit.
Bought some wood yesterday for a couple projects. One couple Cindy cleans house for wanted some plywood under their mattress. Have that cut out and in the car to take to them. When we get back will be starting on a bureau. Told Cindy I am not sure which I am more excited about, the construction or the finished project. I enjoy working in the workshop on things like that. It will probably take a while though since I will be working different hours starting Tuesday.
Have a breakfast taco warmed up and ready to eat (no egg). Then off to do things.
I will really miss the VH also. This is the second year in a row I have missed that because of this project. I enjoy riding in Texas.
