Blessed Sunday

We were blessed with a nice shower yesterday, and more t-storms are forecast thru Tuesday! This is great. I don't usually get to boast about our rainfall here in the desert. I am working on inside projects lately so the rain doesn't hinder me except when I have to dart out to the garage for another tool or something. I am installing shelving and hang rod in the closet, and really only have the carpet to do yet; YEA!
Off to Lowes after church today to get one more piece of hang rod and the rest of the day should be devoted to the carpet. I haven't ridden anywhere lately, but I'm trying to work out a ride with a young man from church who has a Ninja 1400 and a 2000 Nomad which he is in the process of converting to a wanabee Indian? I haven't seen his project yet but he is close to completion. Anyway he seems to have a lot of issues and appears to need a friend. I rode with him once before on the Ninja and that was real interesting because he kept accelerating and then falling back. I guess it's hard to keep that type of bike under the speed limit. Anyway, I'm rambling and need to get ready for church. I wish a blessed Sunday to all here.

Re: Blessed Sunday

71/94 & 1/4" rain. Ahh youth (the Ninja guy). Wasted on young people. He's got a good idea on the Nomad though. I think that an Indian with a Kaw VIN plate is the only way to assure that your "Indian" will still have a factory behind it next week.

Re: Blessed Sunday

AMEN to "Blessed Sunday"! Got the total cost for the machine work on the cage engine the other day, it comes to just over $1200.00 (This includes pistons, gaskets, etc.) The way things are looking now, it's be running...In a couple of years (I have a lot left to do on it.) My 63rd b'day is a week from today. I'm going to spend it in Mountainair working on the house, and hopefully meeting RR in Corona for lunch. Gotta head for Church, Everyone Have a Great Day!!

Ride Safe & Sane;
