Are you catching any water lately. No rain here in Odessa. Just a lot of people working the oil boom. It's like driving in Dallas Ft Worth.
I got my rainwater collection barrel & plumbing in place, so naturally we stopped getting any rain - but thru Oct, Central TX is 3.5" above normal - just no runoff for the lakes.
Be careful. A police contact told me that TX 158 - Midland toward Sterling City had a crash per day. I'm sure it's all dangerous right in there. Lotsa inexperienced truck drivers driving really big stuff.
I have heard that some of the oil companies were hiring truck drivers without a CDL. They took out a over pass west of Big Springs the other day. Kind of scary. Almost every day there is a wreck with big trucks.
