G'day. Can any of you smell/see the smoke from the AZ border fire? There's a pic of Luna, NM on Austin paper front page today with some evil-looking smokey skies in the background. It's moving NE from Springfield, AZ which means it should miss Alpine & south - the devil's highway, but Albuquerque is about 200 miles downwind. Hank? Keep those asthma meds handy.

Can't see any here in Alamogordo, but I believe we are too far south. Hank has been posting about the smoke up in Albuquerque and having soot on his bikes out under the car port.
The prevailing winds would take the smoke to the east-north-east.
