On behalf of Lili Tuwai, we at Vusa Wai Tui Publishing wish to start this forum off by sending much love and peace to all who knew her father, Ratu Joape Tuwai, who passed away on the 3rd October 2007 after a long illness.  He died and was buried on his ancestral land, Nawa Nawa, in Vanua Balavu, Fiji.  We celebrate Ratu Tuwai's life and pray for him as he journeys to his next destination. 

- Thank you Vusa Wai Tui Publishing for your kind words.  My Fathers passing is one of mourning but also one of celebration, as he lived a full life - embracing people from all walks of life.  The thing I admired about him was that he lived his truth. 

One of my Fathers favorite quotes which reminds me most of him was:
